I watch a lot of college hoops. Every now and then, I’ll think to myself “Man, doesn’t so-and-so look like (insert famous person’s name)?!?”

So, I decided to scrounge up some photos of players and coaches from this year and compare them next to some famous people. ESPN actually used to do this, but I think they really stretched on too many of them, but you can decide for yourself.

First, there’s Adam Morrison, that guy from Gonzaga who likes to score. I remember watching some ESPN show (The Season I think) where they follow a team around and show you what goes on outside the game. I believe it was Morrison’s freshman season, two years ago, and he wasn’t really a key player then, but they kept showing him goofing off in the lockerroom or on the team bus or whatever, and he completely reminded me of Dean Ween:

I don’t think those photos truly show it that well, but for me, it’s hard not to think of Deaner when I see Morrison draining 17-foot jumpers on the basketball court.

Also on Gonzaga is Pierre Marie Altidor-Cespedes. We’ll just call him Pierre. He looks like Mos Def:

Wisconsin guard Kammron Taylor and Chris Rock:

DePaul coach Jerry Wainwright is probably my favorite lookalike, as he looks exactly like the principal from Breakfast Club, actor Paul Gleason:

The last one I’ll post here today is Wichita State head coach Mark Turgeon. If this doesn’t look like Nick when he’s 45 or so, then I’ll be shocked. Nick was kind enough to send me a photo which I inserted here after those comments below were posted…
